The EPOS EXPAND 40+ is a portable wireless Bluetooth speakerphone for personal use or conferencing in small to medium sized meeting rooms for up to 8 people. It is easy to use to set up a conference call at a moment’s notice, anytime, anywhere. Or you can use it as part of a permanent conference room solution. A choice between Bluetooth or USB-C connectivity gives you the freedom and flexibility to conference anywhere.

Three beamforming microphones isolate voices from the reverb and ambient noise in a room, delivering a dynamic and rich audio experience. Its ultra-low distortion speaker features industry-leading duplex performance and exceptional speech intelligibility, providing seamless and natural conversation, even in challenging environments. Its ultra-low distortion speaker is great for listening to music too, with dynamic equalisation and bass enhancement, it provides neutral, authentic and powerful music reproduction for an exceptional listening experience.

The EXPAND 40+ comes with a non-removable USB-C connection, but it does come with a USB-C to USB-A (your standard USB plug) adapter in the box as well as a Bluetooth USB-C dongle. The EXPAND 40+ connects to mobile phones/tablets via Bluetooth. Inside the box you will also find a soft carry pouch, perfect for keeping it safe when you’re on the go.

The EXPAND 40+ is optimised for UC (which stands for ‘Unified Communications’). Essentially that just means it’s not certified for Teams but is certified for other things. It will still work with Teams, giving you audio, you just won’t get those shortcuts or notifications. Similarly, the MS version can be used with other softphones and applications. Standard (or ‘UC’) versions are certified for use with all leading UC platforms such as Google Meet and Zoom and will work with any application regardless.
