Jabra BIZ 2400 II Mono 3-1 – NC Balance corded headset is the ultimate Jabra corded headset designed to be used with your desk phone, smart phone, or computer (each requires the correct connector cable). The headset comes with all three wearing styles (earhook, neckband and headband style) making it a flexible solution with executive styling.  It has a noise cancelling microphone which rotates to allow it to be worn on either ear.

The 2400 II are the replacement range for the previous biz 2400 series. They are 40% lighter with improved design for superior fit and optimum positioning

This 2400 has wideband audio which will allow to you have lifelike, vibrant conversations. You will not have to struggle to hear what the other person is saying.

All corded headsets come with a brand specific QD (quick disconnect) connection and require a same brand adapter cable to make them compatible with your phone or other device. These range in price from $15 upwards. Many of these cables look the same but are different inside, so if you’re not 100% sure which you need, give us a call and our staff will gladly check for you.

The Good

The Jabra BIZ 2400 II Mono has all the bells and whistles a corded headset can have. It comes with headband, ear hook and neckband to suit any user, plus stylish leatherette ear cushions. The noise cancelling microphone of the Jabra BIZ 2400 II Mono prevents any unwanted noise being heard by your callers, while the flexible boom ensures perfect positioning. This is a top level corded headset and has a unique 3 year manufacturer’s warranty for extra piece of mind.

The Not So Good

The downside to having flexibility in wearing style is the additional accessories and loss of durability. So if you are a little heavy handed or tend to misplace items. 

As with any corded headset, with the Jabra Biz 2400 II 3-in-1 headset , you are tied to your phone via a cable, this can be frustrating when wires lie across your desk and get in the way of papers or drop down and get crushed & amp; tangled under chair wheels. If your work requires that you get up from your desk (whether on a call or not) you’ll need to unclip the headset or take it off each time & amp; reclip / put it back on when you return.  If you do this alot it can get super-annoying so a wireless headset could save you time, hassle (and hair!)If you don’t have a headset port on your phone, a corded headset will take the place of your handset. If you still want to use the handset you can pick up a switch to allow you to swap between the two.

As we’ve mentioned, corded headsets need connector cables, so don’t forget to factor in those costs when pricing up your headset. If you have a phone that is difficult to match for compatibility you may have to look at an amplifier. An amp, while providing superior call control (with mute and volume controls) and sound quality, will push up the price to about the same as a wireless headset (which  have an amp built in), no brainer – if you need an amp, get a wireless headset!

The Jabra BIZ 2400 II Mono is an executive level headset which is one of the most adaptable on the market.

Other Headsets To Consider Before Buying

For users that are on calls for extended periods of time, or have a particularly noisy workplace the may be a better option to increase call concentration. If you like adaptable headsets, Sennheiser has some doozies; and have 2 styles, the CC513 is a neckband style. If staff sit close together and it’s really noisy the ultra noise cancelling of the is definitely worth the extra investment.

Another factor to consider is the extra productivity that can be gained from the freedom to walk away from your desk while on a call. It is worth checking out the which is a great entry level wireless option for only a small amount extra. If the neckband is a big draw for you, the and both come with the neckband wearing style as well as headband and ear hook.
